Hotel Makár Pécs is situated 200 m from the western terminus of the bus line Number 30 starting from the railway station. In its neighbourhood the University Hospital of PTE and the University Students' Hostels can be found; it lies some hundred metres North from the city section of the principal road Number 6. Sándor Dévényi awarded the Ybl and Kossuth Prizes designed the group of buildings having demanding architecture inside and out.
