room for 1 night, and they include breakfast and VAT. You should add the local tax to the price, which is 350 HU Forints (~1.4 Euro) per day per person. Prices may not be valid during the Formula One GP (1-3 Aug) and New Years Eve, if otherwise not indicated.

Balatonfured, lying 120 km south-west of Budapest on the northern shore of the Lake Balaton, is a famous health and holiday resort. Its history, traditions, numerous sights as well as the vicinity of the Tihany peninsula, two historic wine districts and the world famous Herend china factory makes the town well worth a longer stay. The three-star hotel in the town center, next to the water is open all the year round. Our 45 double rooms (spare beds can be installed) equipped with shower, toilette, a telephone with direct line, mini-bar, color TV (with 14 cable programs) and if needed (for a certain charge) movable room air-conditioning can make your stay more pleasant. Several meetings and conferences have been organized at the hotel during the past years. In the conference hall, 120 people can confer in three languages simultaneously. In the two smaller upstairs rooms meetings for 15-20 persons can be held. A Restaurant for 140 people, a drink-bar and in the summer season a grill-terrace with live dance-music, a buffet and an ice-bar on the beach are also at the guests' disposal. To serve the active relaxation, we offer you a wide range of possibilities: an own sauna and fitness-room and besides swimming and sailing you can enjoy rowing, angling, tennis, table-tennis, and badminton in the summer, skating, ice-surfing and hiking in the winter.
